The most cost-effective advertising for small non-profits is the flyer. Printing is inexpensive and local distribution is easy to manage. From a design perspective, it’s fun and creative, coming up with an “identity” for an event or program and depending on the budget: designing a full-color flyer with bleed, or limiting the design to 8.5×11 with no bleed so a few can be printed out in the office.
